Inspector Luke Wilkinson grimaced slightly as he stretched his arms out to pick up the laptop to set it on the conference table. His still-healing ribs protested as he moved too fast.

Ellie Delfont-Bogard, his ICC teammate gave him a gentle smile as she pulled up the satellite feed on their interconnected laptops.

It had been almost three weeks since the shooting on the rooftop in Silkeborg: Denmark.

Dorn and Carine had been adamant that Luke and Ellie be their tech support on this case of the kidnapping of a city official's wife.

Normally Sebastian would be the one to do it but he was in Munich with the rest of the team.

"Sebastian took the football you got him for Eric." He's going to spend a couple of weeks with him after the case wraps up." Ellie told Luke.

Luke almost nodded before he remembered the headaches caused by that movement.

A gruff, "good," fell from his lips as he tapped slightly on the keys of his laptop and adjusted the angle of the feed he was receiving. He sniffed appreciatively as the smell of coffee wafted toward him. Taking his eyes off the screen momentarily, he noted the steaming cup of Expresso placed on a coaster and within easy reach . A small smile flitted across his face.

Ellie's eyes twinkled as she settled back into her chair which was across the table from Luke.

Sebastian's voice filtered through the office as he relayed the team's coordinates.

Ellie nodded and gave a spoken acknowledgement as she plugged in a set of earbuds in her ears.

Luke grunted as his eyes tracked the video he was watching. The suspects were fleeing toward the outskirts of Frankfurt. Quietly and succinctly, Luke plotted the fastest and safest route to catch the criminals. He then skyped the map pinpointing the location where the team could best intersect the kidnappers to his teammates out in the field.

Arabela thanked him and then scolded him about staying at the office too long. He should be at home resting.

Luke responded to her thank you and ignored her scolding. He was too busy scooting the cup of coffee closer to him.

Ellie, meanwhile was busy scouring through records on the suspects. She quickly and verbally drafted a mini profile on the two suspects.

Carine thanked Ellie for the profiles and then asked her a few questions to clarify the connection between the city official's wife and the two suspects.

As Ellie answered Carine, Luke leaned back in his chair and blissfully took a sip of his coffee and then gave Ellie a dimpled smile.
