(I meant to do this sooner, but I've been AWOL!) This is great - fun and intriguing and I'm enjoying it lots. I can't wait to see where this is going. Poor Ed, we do like to put him through the wringer, don't we!
There were a couple of bits I though were spot on - Last chapter, Ed's reaction to the steak. I know it was just a moment but that was really vivid and effective. And this line from this chapter "I have the word “police” written across my forehead." That made me smile so widely because it's so true.
